Lantern & Lore began with a simple idea: a light can be more than something functional. It can hold a memory of a place, tell a story, and become something you want to keep.
We find inspiration in cities, architecture, travel and culture, and translate these into objects that change when illuminated, bringing the artwork to life.

Lantern & Lore is a Cambridge-based UK gift and lighting brand, creating distinctive folding lights, book lights and personalised illuminated gifts inspired by places, stories and travel.
Alongside our own collections, we create personalised and bespoke designs for individuals, retailers, schools, hospitality venues and organisations.

Our ideas and artwork are developed in the UK, then brought to life with specialist manufacturing partners. We work closely on materials, construction, print and illumination to turn each design into a finished object.
